Mapping curatory methods

Together with Daniel Charny, we embarked on a five-session long journey into the world of curation. While spending most of the time on curating speculative and hypothetical exhibitions was not particularly helpful for the actual MDEFest planning, I personally learned a lot about curation as a practice. Methods, such as establishing the target group and exhibition storytelling first, are the ones that do not appear obvious to the visitor – when done right. Insights on how to approach this were helpful and I could take away some important learnings for the curation of our own final exhibition.
